147. Then My Life Will Just Begin

1 When the moon and the sun, shall declare day is done,
Then my life will just begin,
When the trumpet shall sound, when the saints leave the ground,
Then my life will just begin;
God's holy angel on sea and the shore,
Shall sware by dominion that time shall be no more,
When the stars began to fall, when eternity shall call,
Then my life will just begin.

2 When this earth fades from view, when I bid you a do you,
Then my life will just begin,
Never weep, never sigh, dry the tears from your eye,
For my life will just begin;
This life has been wonderful, friends have been true,
And someday up yonder we'll live it a new,
When my steps are getting slow, when from earth my soul must go,
Then my life will just begin.
