S.XXXV. At Table

1 My Soul, survey thy Happiness,
If thou art found a Child of Grace,
How richly is the Gospel stor'd!
What Joy the Promises afford!

2 All Things are now the Gift of God,
And purchas'd with our Saviour's Blood;
While the good Spirit shews us how,
To use and to enjoy them too.

3 If Peace and Plenty crown my Days,
They Help me Lord to sing thy Praise;
If Bread of Sorrow be my Food,
Those Sorrows work my real Good.

4 Be present at our Table Lord,
Be here and every where ador'd:
Thy People bless, and grant that we,
May feast in Paradise with thee.
