He came to rescue sinners all worthless,

But this I do know, He came, my ransom,
Dying on Calv’ry, with thorns on His brow.

So I will follow, thro’ joy or sorrow,
Sunshine or tempest, since He leads me there.

4 Jesus will crown me—wonderful Savior!
Jesus will crown me, I cannot tell when;
White throne of splendor hail I with gladness,
Crowned in the presence of angels and men.
