121. A Little More Prayer

1 A little more pray’r as the years roll by,
A stronger faith as the moments fly,
A closer grasp of the Father’s hand,
As we journey on to the promised land.

Refrain:
A little more faith, a little more pray’r,
A little more rest in our Father’s care,
And a closer grasp of His mighty hand,
For He leads us on to the promised land.

2 A little more help for our neighbor’s need,
A kinder heart, and a nobler deed,
A deeper sense of our Savior’s love,
And a brighter view of the home above. [Refrain]

3 A little more praise for the hidden joy,
A sweeter song shall our lips employ,
A purer soul ‘neath the crimson flow,
And a richer life, where His graces grow. [Refrain]
