1 Rejoice evermore, hallelujah,
And pray without ceasing,–believe;
In all things give thanks, for he wills it,
Who bids us to ask and receive.

Rejoice evermore,
Your Savior adore,
To Jesus, your Savior and Friend,
Your pray’rs never cease,
Your joys shall increase,
He’ll love you and guide to the end.

2 His ear is inclined toward his children,
His promises never will fail;
For he who hath formed us will lead us
In peace past the shadowy vale. [Refrain]

3 Rejoice evermore, sing hosanna,
Give thanks, and unceasingly pray;
God wills that thro’ Christ we obey him,
Then quench not the Spirit today. [Refrain]
