This English setting of the Agnus Dei text incorporates soprano lines that float above the choral ostinato. The symbolism in the composition reflects the contrast between the individual in worship and the congregation at worship. Written for the 25th Anniversary celebration of The Association of Anglican Musicians and intended for Maundy Thursday, but appropriate for any service of communion.
