Sumner, Alice E. Silvara (Sylvara). (Merryal, Pennsylvania, August 20, 1858--March 11, 1949, New Albany, Penn.). Married husband Corrington October 20, 1886, in Wyalusing, Penn. Piano and organ instructor and joined the first class of the Chautauqua Literary Society Circle of Chautauqua, New York, of which she was one of the first graduates in 1882.
