Person Name: Descon. Author (estr. 1-2) of "Oh, Dios mi soberano Rey" in Celebremos Su Gloria In some hymnals, the editors noted that a hymn's author is unknown to them, and so this artificial "person" entry is used to reflect that fact. Obviously, the hymns attributed to "Author Unknown" "Unknown" or "Anonymous" could have been written by many people over a span of many centuries.

Arne Composer of "[Oh Dios, mi soberano Rey]" in Himnario Adventista Dr. Thomas Augustine Arne was born March 12, 1710, in London; became early celebrated as a composer, and established his reputation by settling Milton's "Comus" to music - light, airy, and original; he composed many songs, and nearly all his attempts were successful; died March 5, 1778, aged 68. Wilhelm A. F. Schulthes

1816 - 1879 Composer of "[¡Oh Dios, mi soberano Rey!]" in Himnario Adventista Wilhelm August Ferdinand Schulthes Germany 1816-1879. Born at Hesse Castle, Germany, son of a German army officer, he was raised Lutheran, but turned to Roman Catholicism around 1852. He directed the Brompton Oratory choir (1852-1872). He taught music at the Convent of the Sacred Heart, Roehampton (1868-1879). He also wrote poetry. No information found regarding family or other life events. He died at Bois-de-Colombes, France.
