Notes

There is an everlasting home. M. Bridges. [Christ, the Rock of Ages.] Published in his Hymns of the Heart. For the use of Catholics, 1848, in 6 stanzas of 4 lines, and entitled "Latus Salvatoris." In its full or abbreviated form it is in several collections, including the People's Hymnal 1867, &c. The tune Mitford, by T. Woolsey White, was specially composed for this hymn.
