37. Come to the Saviour

1 Jesus, the Saviour, is calling today,
Sinner, will you come?
Do not reject Him, oh turn not away,
Sinner, will you come?

Come, come, do not delay,
Jesus is tenderly pleading,
Waiting to pardon and welcome you home,
Oh, come to Him while you may.

2 Many are wandering far from the fold,
Dying, sick and sore,
Christ, the good Shepherd, with mercy untold,
Seeks them evermore. [Refrain]

3 Come to Me ye that are weary and worn,
I will give you rest,
Easy the yoke when with Me it is borne,
Take it and be blest. [Refrain]

4 Certain the road to eternity lies,
Bringing life or woe,
Jesus will give you a home in the skies,
Can you still say No? [Refrain]
