138. The Blessings of the Lord

1 Let us now enjoy the blessings of the Lord, who freely gives,
And forever claim the promise with delight;
Sacrifice the worldly pleasures, and forever near Him live,
In the service of the Master and the right.

Refrain:
Let us now enjoy the blessings, of the Lord who freely gives;
Now have faith, believe His promise and His face we soon shall see,
Hallelujah! hallelujah! I am saved.

2 Lead us Lord that we may guide the wand’rers to thy blessed feet,
And to bear the cross with patience all the way;
Gladly give us willing hearts to praise thee at thy mercy seat,
With the knowledge of Thy Spirit ev’ry day. [Refrain]

3 Let us gladly bear the trials as the journey we pursue,
In the sunlight, shades, and storms of ev’ry kind;
Let us listen to the voice of Him who gently bids us do,
Leave a world of sinful pleasure far behind. [Refrain]
