12203. Blessed King Of Judah

1 O there is none like the blessèd King of Judah;
Hailed by the world His reign shall be;
Light of the soul and of ages everlasting,
O there is none so great as He;
They who abide in His pure and holy dwelling,
Crowned with delight all His wonders now are telling;
Harp answers harp, and the song of rapture swelling,
Hallow the name of the Lord our king.

Refrain:
O there is none like the blessèd King of Judah;
Hailed by the world His reign shall be;
Light and hope of everlasting ages,
O there is none so great as He.

2 Hark, ’tis the voice of the blessèd King of Judah,
Sounding afar the sweet command;
Look and be saved, are its words of loving kindness;
Firm as the hills this truth shall stand;
Look and be saved; O the millions that before Him
Fall at His feet while they worship and adore Him,
Tell of His love while they shout aloud the story.
Saved and redeemed by the Lord our king. [Refrain]

3 We will rejoice in the blessèd King of Judah,
We will obey His voice of love,
Calling away to the fields of endless pleasure,
Calling to rest and life above;
When, on the banks of the clear and crystal river,
Those we have loved we shall meet no more to sever,
There we shall sing with the pure in heart forever,
Praise to the name of the Lord our king. [Refrain]
