1 The living fount is flowing now,
Lord, help me enter in;
The stream from Calv’ry’s sacred brow
Shall take away my sin.

Saviour, I am coming to the cleansing blood,
Coming where the healing waters flow;
Wash me in the crimson flood,
And I shall be whiter than the snow.

2 Thy kind, inviting voice I heard,
Thy Spirit drew me near;
Now may thy reassuring word
Speak comfort, peace and cheer. [Refrain]

3 Sweet Mercy meets me at the cross,
And breathes of love divine;
Lord, free my heart from sinful dross,
And make me wholly thine. [Refrain]

4 Dear Saviour, keep me every hour,
When tides of blessing pour;
And safe beneath the fountain’s pow’r,
