Nor falter while you pray;
Let faith and trust in Jesus
Grow stronger day by day.

Toil on and pray, O reapers,
He knows your weight of care;
Toil on, the blessing will be yours,
For He will answer pray’r.

2 Toil on and pray, believing,
Tho’ earthly skies are dim,—
Above the clouds ‘tis sunshine;
Then put your trust in Him. [Refrain]

3 His eye is watching o’er you,
His hand directs your way;
Pray on, till souls are rescued,
