1 Vil du i denne Verdens Stund
Ret være glad af Hjertens Grund,
Da elsk din Næste, frygt din Gud,
Og gak hans Vei, og hold hans Bud.

2 Din Flid bær Frugt, som gjør dig glad,
Og Drygsel er der i it Fad,
Som hegnet Træ ved Herre-Slot,
Saa trives Viv og Velfærd godt.

3 En Krans af Børn omkring dit Bord,
Som Planter smaa i frugtbar Jord!
Saa Gud velsigne vil og kan
Hver kirsten og gudfrygtig Mand.

4 Ja ham vil Gud ved Jesus Krist
Lyksalig gjøre her og hist,
Af Hæders Aar og Alder mæt
Han ser om sig en talrig Æt.
