86. In My Father’s House Are Many Mansions

1 Come, Thou fount of ev’ry blessing,
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace;
Streams of mercy, never ceasing,
Call for ceaseless songs of praise.

Refrain:
“In My Father’s house are many mansions,
If it were not so I would have told you;
In My Father’s house are many mansions,”
And all the streets are paved with gold.

2 Here I raise my Ebenezer,
Hither by Thy help I’m come;
And I hope, by Thy good pleasure,
Safely to arrive at home. [Refrain]

3 O to grace how great a debtor
Daily I’m constrained to be!
Let Thy goodness, like a fetter,
Bind my wand’ring heart to Thee. [Refrain]
