110. Grace, Patience and Strength

1 Thy Grace sufficient, to me let it be
Like a shield to protect and from Satan set free;
In ev’ry temptation this promise I claim,
For by it my enemies oft have been slain.

Refrain:
Grace, Patience and Strength,
My dear loving Savior, now let them be mine;
Grace, Patience and Strength,
My dear, loving Savior, now let them be mine.

2 Thy Patience, O Lord, to my soul freely give,
That I may not murmur, but constantly live
In the sunshine of gladness, thine own loving smile,
In joy or in sadness, in thee all the while. [Refrain]

3 Thy Strength, give me daily and hourly, I pray,
Uphold me, for I am but weakness each day;
Bestow on me, Lord, from thy bountiful store,
Thy grace and thy patience, with strength evermore. [Refrain]
