32. Grace dwells with justice on your throne

Grace dwells with justice on your throne,
and those who love your word
have heard your wisdom, and have known
your heavenly counsels, Lord.

I'll think again of all your ways,
and talk your wonders o'er: —
the wonders of recovering grace,
when flesh could hope no more.

I will forbid a hopeless thought,
some dark, despairing claim,
remembering good your hand has wrought;
your hand is still the same!

I'll meditate your works of old;
our God, who reigns above;
I'll hear your ancient wonders told,
and learn to trust your love.
