Himnos de la Salvación

You are here

I found a reference to this hymnal, "Himnos de la Salvación" in the personal Diary of an early pentecostal missionary to Argentina (Alice Christi Wood). She received 38 copies of this hymnal from a Brother Cragin on July 23, 1910.

How might I find an index to the songs in this hymnal? I am interested in learning the theology of early pentecostals in Argentina, and the hymns that they sang would be an important clue.

Thank you!

Comments

We unfortunately do not have this hymnal indexed on the Hymnary website.

Thank you for your reply. Do you have any ideas about where else I might go to find more information on this hymnal? Or another title that this hymnal may be known by? Or any indications about who "Brother Cragin" might be?

I did a Google search for the hymnal and Cragin and it looks like there is a paper "La música en el avivamiento pentecostal de Chile (1909-1936)" on the site academia.edu, which mentions the hymnal and Cragin

Is there a fairly well-established Pentecostal college, seminary, or denominational organization in Argentina that you might contact?
