Dani Aguila

Daniel D'umuk Aguila was an editorial cartoonist, journalist and artist. He signed his work "El Dani." He was born September, 24, 1928 in the Philippines to Governor Doroteo Aguila of La Union and Donata D'umuk. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Philippines in 1952 and was a Fellow Audio Visual and Television Education at Syracuse University. He married Norma Alampay in 1960. She was a fellow student leader at the University of Philippines. They worked together for several years The University of Philippines Christian Youth Movement. They moved to Nashville in 1967. Dani died September 28, 2010 in Nashville.
