the heav'ns proclaim.
Your praise on infant lips
will prove a potent shield

the works your hands have made:
the countless stars, the moon the leads
their bright parade,
why do mere mortals rate
your notice or your care?
How can it matter in your sight
that we are there?

such near-angelic pow'rs
