Text: | The One Hundredth Psalm |
Author: | Julia H. Johnston |
Tune: | [Come, oh, come with singing] |
Composer: | D. B. Towner |
1 Come, oh, come with singing,
Lift the joyful shout,
Praise the Lord Jehovah,
Let the song ring out.
Chorus:
Praise him, all ye people,
Lift the heart and sing,
For his truth endureth,
God is Lord and King.
2 Serve the Lord with gladness,
Banish doubt and fear;
He it is that made us,
Now to him come near. [Chorus]
3 He, the tender Shepherd,
Guards the timid sheep;
We are of his pasture,
He will guide and keep. [Chorus]
4 Enter with thanksgiving,
His wide open gates,
Fill his courts with praises,
There Jehovah waits. [Chorus]
