153. In My Saviour's Care

1 I am resting, sweetly resting,
I am safe from all alarm,
In the arms of my Redeemer;
He’ll protect me from all harm.

Refrain:
I am resting, I am trusting,
I am in my Saviour’s care;
At the cross I am abiding,
I am safe forever there.

2 I am trusting, daily trusting,
In my Saviour’s pow’r to keep;
In my waking hours He’ll guide me,
And protect me while asleep. [Refrain]

3 I am hoping, ever hoping,
When my Saviour comes to reign,
I will be among the ransomed,
Sav’d forever from sin’s strain. [Refrain]

4 Let us always then be ready
For the coming of the King;
Then we’ll crown the blessed Jesus,
And His praises ever sing. [Refrain]
