Appears in 4 hymnals First Line: Since my Savior set me free Refrain First Line: The way is growing brighter every day Lyrics: 1 Since my Savior set me free, And His grace avails for me, The way is growing brighter ev’ry day; All my hope is in the Lord, In the promise of His Word; The way is growing brighter ev’ry day. Refrain: The way is growing brighter ev’ry day, The way is growing brighter ev’ry day; As I keep in touch with Jesus, And with joy His will obey, The way is growing brighter ev’ry day. 2 Since from sin I am made whole, I have peace within my soul; The way is growing brighter ev’ry day; In the toil and stress of life, Midst its dangers, cares and strife, The way is growing brighter ev’ry day. [Refrain] 3 What a joy it is to know, AS with Christ I onward go; The way is growing brighter ev’ry day; In my sorrow He is near, Giving comfort, peace and cheer; The way is growing brighter ev’ry day.
