The Royal Way

Author: T. H. Appears in 2 hymnals Hymnal Title: Inspiring Songs No. 1 First Line: We're walking in the light Lyrics: 1 We’re walking in the light, We’re battling for the right, We are keeping in the strait and narrow way, Christ Jesus is our King, His praise our lips shall sing While walking in the middle of the royal way. Chorus: The royal way Will never lead astray; From sin and pride O turn aside And walk the narrow way; With Jesus as our Friend We’ll reach our journey’s end By walking in the middle of the royal way. 2 With Jesus for our guide We’ll never turn aside, We will never leave the bright and shining way; It leads to heav’n, our home Where Jesus bids us come: We’ll keep within the middle of the royal way. [Chorus] 3 In Christ let us rejoice With cheerful heart and voice, For the path is growing brighter ev’ry day; And soon we’ll reach our home, Where Jesus bids us come: Till then we’ll keep the middle of the royal way. [Chorus] Topics: Following Christ Used With Tune: [We're walking in the light]
