Representative Text

1 Always in the front line,
Face toward the foe,
Stand beside the colors,
Ev’rywhere you go;
Never, never falter,
Lay your armor down,
Till you gain the battle,
Win the crown.

Refrain:
Stand in the front line,
Fear not a loss,
Firm as a hero,
Stand by the cross;
Christ is our Captain,
Faith is our shield,
Stand by the colors,
Never yield.

2 Always near the Savior,
Never turn away,
Serve him with a whole heart,
Serve him ev’ry day;
Strive to do your duty,
Ever brace and true,
Jesus will deliver,
Take you through. [Refrain]

3 When the battle rages,
When the foes assail,
Never leave the colors,
Never, never fail;
Stand beside your Leader,
Trust the Lord to save,
Be a loyal soldier,
True and brave. [Refrain]
