Representative Text

1 And now we must bid one another farewell;
The peace of our God keep you ever!
God's peace in our bosom, and all will be well,
Or whether we meet or we sever.
May Christ, our dear Lord,
Be our sure reward,
When we from this world pass forever!

2 Oh, help us, dear Father, through Jesus, Thy Son,
That gladly our course we may finish!
And Thou, Holy Spirit, Thou comforting One,
Thy love in our hearts so replenish,
That we, by Thy might
May fight the good fight,
Till won is the crown everlasting.
