Representative Text

1 Beautiful daisies, pure and white,
Making the meadows gay;
Beautiful daisies! hearts delight,
Stars of the earth are they.

Refrain:
Beautiful daisies, snowy daisies,
Smile in the sun’s warm ray;
Beautiful daisies, snowy daisies,
Stars of the earth are they,
Stars of the earth are they.

2 Beautiful daisies upward gaze,
Into the sky so fair;
Seeming to offer silent praise
For the dear Father’s care. [Refrain]

3 Beautiful daisies! so will we
Offer our sweetest praise;
Worshiping Him whose love so free,
Crowneth with good our days. [Refrain]
