Representative Text

1 Darkness will flee and the morning shall dawn,
When Jesus comes into your heart;
Shadows will vanish, your night will be gone,
When Jesus comes into your heart.

Refrain:
When Jesus comes into your heart,
The shadows of sin will depart;
Your morning will dawn, your night will be gone,
When Jesus comes into your heart.

2 Chains will be broken and you will be free,
When Jesus comes into your heart;
Eyes that were closed to His glory can see,
When Jesus comes into your heart. [Refrain]

3 Peace passing knowledge will sweep thro’ your soul,
When Jesus comes into your heart;
And ev’ry care upon Him you can roll,
When Jesus comes into your heart. [Refrain]

4 Blessing will come like the fresh morning dew,
When Jesus comes into your heart;
Heaven’s bright portals swing open to you,
When Jesus comes into your heart. [Refrain]
