Representative Text

1 Hear ye the voice of the Master call,
“Serve Me today,
Make no delay;”
Wide is the field, there is room for all,
And none shall be turned away.

Refrain:
He calls you, calls you,
To His service day by day;
He will choose your part,
And with willing heart
‘Tis yours to work and pray.
Then serve Him, serve Him;
Till the days of toil are done
And the whole wide world for Christ our Lord at last is won.

2 Answer His call while the day is new,
Gladly reply,
“Lord, here am I;”
Haste with the task He would have you do,
For swiftly the hours go by. [Refrain]

3 After the day with its burning heat,
Rest shall be won
At set of sun;
Lay then your sheaves at the Master’s feet
And list for His sweet, “Well done.” [Refrain]
