Representative Text

1 I am happy, O so happy,
Since a Saviour’s love I know;
All my sins He hath forgiven,
Where the streams of Calv’ry flow.

Refrain:
I am happy, O so happy,
Since the Lord redeemed my soul;
Since I bathed in Calv’ry’s fountain
Where the cleansing billows roll.

2 All my soul within rejoices
For my night is turned to day;
And a hope is mine so blessed,
It shall never pass away. [Refrain]

3 I am glad so glad my Saviour,
Hath remembered even me;
That His love so deep and boundless,
And His blessing mine shall be. [Refrain]

4 I am glad so glad He loves me,
Precious is the tho’t to me;
More and more the pathway shineth
‘Neath love’s happy sunshine free. [Refrain]
