Representative Text

1 I need the blood to me applied,
For cleansing, keeping pow’r;
O blessed Saviour, Crucified,
Save me this very hour.

Refrain:
I want Jesus, I want Jesus,
Ev’ry day and hour;
For I need His grace to keep me,
And I know His saving pow’r.

2 I need His grace each trying day,
To keep me lest I fall;
O Jesus, come and with me stay,
To be my All in All. [Refrain]

3 I want Thee, Lord, and need Thee more
Than tongue of mine can tell;
O enter in and evermore
Consent with me to dwell. [Refrain]

4 O heart of mine! He speaks to Thee,
“Thy sins are all forgiv’n;”
On earth I have the victory,
O blest foretaste of heav’n! [Refrain]
