Tho’ I’m unworthy the name of a son;
Yea, He hath loved and redeemed me in Jesus,
But form my home I have run.

In the presence of angels, there’s joy, great joy,
When a wandering one cometh home,
When the prodigal seeketh his Father’s house,
No more from His presence to roam.

Servant I’ll be unto Him from today,
Bread He has plenty, then why need I hunger,

I will confess and acknowledge my sin,
He will forgive and renew me in Jesus,

Wandering soul, shall not this be your cry?
Go like the prodigal son to his father,
