Representative Text

1 I will never doubt my Saviour,
But will trust Him to the end,
For I know that He will ever
Be the dearest, truest friend.

Refrain:
I will never, never doubt Him;
From His presence never roam;
Whatsoever be the pathway,
I will follow Jesus home.

2 Friends of earth may slight and leave me,
Loved ones let their love grow cold,
But my Lord will never grieve me;
He my hand will always hold. [Refrain]

3 In the trying hour of sorrow,
He is near to dry my tears;
Strength my soul can always borrow,
When the threat’ning foe appears. [Refrain]

4 When I reach death’s dreary valley,
Still to Him will I be true,
For my courage He will rally
And will guide me safely through. [Refrain]
