As We Go Traveling Home

Representative Text

1 Oh, blest assurance ever dear,
As we go traveling home;
It comes our drooping hearts to cheer,
As we go traveling home.

Refrain:
As we go traveling home,
As we go traveling home,
All sorrows past, sweet peace at last,
As we go traveling home.

2 Our pathway may be overcast,
As we go traveling home;
But joy and peace will come at last,
As we go traveling home. [Refrain]

3 Led by the pillar, by the cloud,
As we go traveling home;
Redeemed by Jesus’ precious blood,
As we go traveling home. [Refrain]
