Representative Text

1 Once again we plead, O sinner,
Come to Christ without delay;
Seek at once your soul’s salvation,
Make your peace with God today.

Chorus:
Yield yourself to Jesus,
And the Spirit’s call obey;
Make a full surrender,
At the judgment it will pay.

2 You may seek for worldly pleasure,
Keep your spirit light and gay,
Put away all tho’t of dying;
At the judgment, will it pay? [Chorus]

3 You may treat the Spirit lightly,
Bid Him come some other day,
Now reject His earnest pleadings:
At the judgment, will it pay? [Chorus]

4 You may spurn the Bible warnings,
From this message turn away,
But you’ll meet it at the judgment;
Then, poor sinner, will it pay? [Chorus]
