Oliphant, 1834, and again in The Church of England Hymn Book, &c, 1838, No. 592, in 3 stanzas of 8 lines, and entitled "The Believer waiting for the Lord." In 1863 it was included with alterations in Kennedy, No. 783; but its use is not extensive, outside the collections of the Plymouth Brethren.
