Representative Text

1 A veil is hung before me; one step is all I see;
I cannot tell what changes here may be awaiting me;
But whether rain or sunshine, this song is ringing yet:
He never, never will forsake, He never will forget.

Refrain:
All praise to Him above,
Who sitteth on the judgment throne;
He never, never will forsake, He never will forget.

2 O let it be my pleasure, my all-absorbing aim,
To do my Master’s bidding and to glorify His name;
He’ll help me in the service, whatever foes beset,
And never, never will forsake, and never will forget. [Refrain]

3 Tho’ lowly be my pathway, tho’ sorrows may arise,
And heavy clouds of trial yet may overspread the skies,
When welcomed to His palace, the way I’ll not regret:
He never, never will forsake, He never will forget. [Refrain]
