Representative Text

1 After all labor is done in this life,
After has ended our day,
Blessed reward if we've won in the strife,
Joy that will pass not away;
After the sorrows and trials are o'er,
That we encounter below,
After the darkness and clouds are no more,
To that dear home we will go.

2 After all battles are won in the strife,
And Jesus calls us "come."
After we've finished our work in this life,
Then we shall pass to that home;
After our morning and evening are past;
Then will eternity dawn;
Will we shout, "Glory! I'm home safe at last,
Safe in our beautiful home."

3 After we've suffered and wept here below,
Over our errors and sin,
Up to our beautiful home we will go,
Jesus will welcome us in;
After goodbyes to our friends have been said,
And we have felt the last kiss,
After the watchers shall say we are dead,
We shall have entered sweet bliss.
