Representative Text

1 Although you stumble in the way,
And hopes may crumble and decay,
Don’t yield to sadness and dismay,
Look up and try again!

Refrain:
Look up, for God is reigning yet,
The joys recall, the griefs forget,
Be brave and conquer vain regret,
Look up and try again!

2 Your cherished plans must sometimes fail,
Temptations come and foes assail,
Don’t mourn your fate and idly wait,
Look up and try again! [Refrain]

3 Though snares are in the road you tread,
And shadows veil the path ahead,
Don’t sink beneath a load of dread,
Look up and try again! [Refrain]

4 Press on, though foes may jeer and frown,
And evil pow’rs would drag you down,
The road is leading to a crown,
Look up and try again! [Refrain]
