Aquel rosal lejano

Representative Text

1 Aquel rosal lejano
Al fin la rosa dio,
Que un amoroso arcano
Al hombre prometió.
Venid a ver, venid,
La flor del soberano
Linaje de David.

2 Con júbilo el pasado
Predijo el sin igual
Portento, al hombre dado
Por madre virginal.
Cantemos hoy también
Al niño deseado,
Sonrisa de Belén.

3 Gentil botón que asoma
Tan lisonjero ya,
Abierto, ¡cuánto aroma
Al mundo exhalará!
¡Oh buen Jesús, en Ti
Qué olor de vida toma
La humanidad feliz!
