Representative Text

1 Are we walking in the light?
Are we serving one another?
Do we truly love our brother?
Are our garments clean and white?

Refrain:
Are we walking in the light,
With our garments clean and white?
Does the blessed “Meek and lowly”
Cleanse us now, and cleanse us wholly?
Are we walking in the light?

2 Can we claim the promise sweet,
Thro’ the precious blood of Jesus?
Can we say he truly frees us,
Making now our joy complete? [Refrain]

3 Have we reached fair Beulah land
On the summit of the mountain?
Are we drinking from the fountain,
Do we heed the Lord’s command? [Refrain]

4 Hallelujah! promise sweet,
We may tell the joyful story
Of a wondrous light and glory,
Thro’ the cleansing, full, complete? [Refrain]
