Representative Text

1 Are you in byways of sorrow and sin?
Come to the Mighty to save!
Would you the life of the christian begin?
Come to the Mighty to save!
Lo! He is calling in tenderest tone,
Waiting this moment to call you His own
You may find mercy low down at His throne,
Come to the Mighty to save!

Refrain:
Come to the Mighty to save!
Come to the Mighty to save!
“Come!” He is calling in tenderest tone,
Oh! He is mighty to save.

2 Claiming the promise and claiming it now,
Come to the Mighty to save!
None ever perished where penitents bow,
Come to the Mighty to save!
Kneel to our Saviour, confess and believe,
While you are asking, free pardon receive,
Dare not, my brother, the Spirit to grieve
Come to the Mighty to save! [Refrain]

3 Precious the promise contained in the word,
Come to the Mighty to save!
All may be saved who believe on our Lord,
Come to the Mighty to save!
Come and be clothed in the garment of white,
Come, and be heir with the souls on the right,
Come to our blessed Redeemer tonight,
Who is so willing to save! [Refrain]
