Representative Text

1 Are your eyes upon Jesus, the Mighty to save?
He’ll keep you from sinking in life’s stormy way;
He’ll guide you when walking the pilgrimage way;
Are your eyes upon Jesus? He’ll save you today.

Refrain:
Keep your eyes on the cross,
Keep your eyes on the cross,
On Jesus the Lamb,
Keep your eyes on the cross.

2 Are your eyes upon Jesus? tho’ trials should throng
He’ll comfort and cheer you, and give you a song,
The Shepherd of Israel, the Lamb on the throne;
Are you trusting, obeying, this Saviour alone? [Refrain]

3 Are your eyes upon Jesus in faith, hope and love?
Then ev’ry step leads you to mansions above;
No evil enticements will lure you aside,
While your eyes are on Jesus, your Saviour and guide. [Refrain]
