Representative Text

1 As for me and my house, we will all serve the Lord;
We will walk in His footsteps day by day;
All our talents we will bring, consecrating ev’rything
To the service of our Savior and King.

Chorus:
As for me, as for me,
As for me and all my house,
We will love and serve the Lord,
We will follow in His footsteps alway.

2 As for me and my house, we will all serve the Lord;
His commands and His precepts we’ll obey,
What He says to us we’ll do, where He sends us we will go,
In our Master’s joyful service below. [Chorus]

3 As for me and my house, we will all serve the Lord;
We will walk in His footsteps day by day,
We will labor, watch and pray, seek for those who’ve gone astray,
And will point them to the blessed old way. [Chorus]

4 As for me and my house, we will all serve the Lord;
In the home, on the street, or o’er the sea,
We will publish far and wide, how the Savior came and died
To redeem us and to make us all free. [Chorus]
