Comrades in Endeavor

Representative Text

1 Ask the gracious Master
For a willing heart,
From his blessed service
Never to depart;
Faithful he who calls us,
Ev'ry promise true,
Strengthened by his Spirit
We'll be faithful too.

Chorus:
Comrades in Endeavor, ready, ready!
Faithful, true and faithful, may we ever be;
Marching, onward marching, steady, steady!
Comrades of the Junior Y. P. S. C. E.

2 Faithful in the little,
Looking ev'ry day
For the simple duties
Lying in our way;
Little words of comfort
Loving lips will speak,
Little acts of kindness
Willing hearts will seek. [Chorus]

3 He who works for Jesus,
"Faithful in the least,"
Wins the blest approval
At the heav'nly feast;
So we'll ask this blessing,
His enabling power,
Heartily to serve him
Ev'ry day and hour. [Chorus]
