Representative Text

1 Assembled in the Master’s name,
Disciples, here we meet to claim
Fulfillment of the promise sweet,
That Jesus with His own will meet.

Refrain:
The King is here! His Spirit fills
Our waiting hearts, controls our wills;
His love dispels all doubt and fear;
The King is here, the King is here!

2 His promise is to ev’ry one;
Ask what ye will, it shall be done;
And at His blessed feet we bow,
For He is here to answer now. [Refrain]

3 Such wealth of love His presence brings
The bread of life, the living springs;
All want we find in Him supplied,
And we may all be satisfied. [Refrain]

4 His presence shall our songs inspire,
His spirit touch our lips with fire;
And bring the heav’nly life so near,
That all shall own the King is here. [Refrain]
