عزِّ نفسي بالسرورْ
وأفِض في القلب نوراً
منك يسمو كل نورْ

2 أبصَرَتْ عيني جموعاً
تطلبُ الملجا الأمينْ
وجدوا نعمةَ ربٍّ
فاقتفوهُ شاكرينْ

3 إنني عبد ضعيفٌ
أيها المولى القديرْ
قوِّني ثبِّت رجائي
وأنرني يا مُنيرْ

4 إنني أشهدُ جَهراً
أنك الهادي الوحيدْ
فاهدني ما دمتُ حيّاً
وامنحِ القلبَ الجديدْ

5 أعطني روحاً وديعاً
سالكاً سُبْلَ الخشوعْ
مانحاً قلباً وعيناً
ليسَ يغشاها الهجوعْ

Nasif al-Yaziji (March 25, 1800 – February 8, 1871) was a Lebanese author at the times of the Ottoman Empire and father of Ibrahim al-Yaziji. He was one of the leading figures in the Nahda movement.
