Representative Text

1 Be a witness for the Master,
Speak for Him whate’er the cost,
Words for Jesus true and earnest,
Never, never shall be lost.
Someone ling’ring in the darkness,
Groping in the shadows dim,
May be led to Christ the Saviour
By your earnest words for Him.

Refrain:
Be a witness for the Master,
Speak for Him whate’er the cost,
Words for Jesus true and earnest,
Never, never shall be lost!

2 Be a witness for the Master,
Be a witness brave and true;
You have felt His love and pardon,
Tell what He has done for you,
Someone who is near the kingdom,
Burdened with a load of sin,
By your loving words for Jesus
May be led to enter in. [Refrain]

3 Be a witness for the Master,
Tell the story old and sweet,
Longing hearts may catch its beauty
And be led to Jesus’ feet,
Unto you is giv’n a message,
Tell it gladly while you may;
Be a witness of Salvation
Speak for Jesus day by day. [Refrain]
