Representative Text

1 Be ye strong in strength divine,
For His arm upholds us,
O’er our path His glories shine,
Changeless love enfolds us,
Falter not nor anxious be,
For our Help is He,
In Him be strong with joyful song,
Then on, on, on!

Refrain:
Then onward go,
Fear ye not for He upholds us;
In Him abide, His love shall guide,
In strength of the Lord be strong!
Then onward go,
Fear ye not for He upholds us;
In Him abide, His love shall guide,
In strength of the Lord be strong!

2 Be ye glad in joy divine,
Mercies e’er surround us,
Wherefore should our hearts repine,
When His gifts have crowned us?
Joy of God our strength shall be
For our Hope is He,
In Him rejoice with heart and voice,
Then on, on, on! [Refrain]

3 Be ye true to light divine,
Follow where ‘tis guiding,
To the King the way resign,
In His love abiding;
Blessed shall our pathway be
For our Light is He;
His word we heed for He shall lead,
Then on, on, on! [Refrain]
